Trip Grade: Intro These trips are open to all levels of experience. The locations and route choice will be based on providing an enjoyable journey that is within the capabilities of a beginner but could be enjoyed by any level of kayaker. We will offer expert guidance and instruction in sea kayaking whilst journeying and exploring some beautiful sections of coastline.Intro

INTROmediate These trips are perfect for those who have some sea kayaking experience and confidence and want to build on their existing skills, or want to experience a journey that may involve some more challenging conditions. These trips may involve full days of sea kayaking up to 15km and some rougher conditions (distances and conditions always vary).
- You should ideally already have some prior experience and confidence in a sea kayak.
- These trips can also be suited to those with little sea kayaking experience but who have experience in another paddlesport such as white water kayaking or canoeing.
- Progressive skills and longer journeys.
Explore the Sound of Arisaig and Knoydart coastlines whilst building your knowledge and confidence with sea kayaking.

Intermediate These trips are for those who have a good level of knowledge and experience gained from several expeditions or lots of days out in sea kayaks in varied conditions. These trips may feature some longer days of at least 25km (daily distances will vary), committing coastline, longer open crossings and rougher seas.
- You should be confident paddling 25km in a day, handling a sea kayak in force 4 winds and negotiating waves of 1m or more.
- You should have some knowledge and practice of rescues.
- Great if you want to build more advanced skills and experience.

Private Kayak Expedition

Bespoke The trip can be tailored to the experience and fitness of the group - up to any level of experience. As a minimum we'd recomend you have some adventure sports experience, a basic level of fitness and have camped before. Ideally to get the most from an expedition you'd have spent some time in a sea kayak before.
- As a minimum you should ideally already have some prior experience and confidence in a sea kayak, or other paddlesports experience or experience of journeying or expeditions with another adventure sport. If camping and sea kayaking are brand new to you then we'd recomend joining another type of trip, or wait until 2021 when we'll have our full trip range on offer.
- The conditions we paddle in, the length of the expedition and the amount of coaching can all be tailored to meet the needs of the group.
Explore Scotland's coastline on a private sea kayak expedition - either around our home waters of the Sound of Arisaig or anywhere on Scotland's coast.
Paddle, Forage & Wild Camp

Trip Grade: Open These trips are open to all levels of experience, but to get the most from this trip we'd recommend you have some prior experience of kayaking. If you don't have any prior kayaking experience then we'd suggest doing an intro to sea kayaking course first. The locations and route choice will be based on providing an enjoyable journey that is within the capabilities of a beginner but could be enjoyed by any level of kayaker. Journey by sea kayak to remote beaches where we'll explore on foot, learning about and harvesting wild food, ready to paddle on and prepare an evening feast at our chosen wild camp.Open

A six day expedition, exploring the spectacular coastline of the North West Highlands.
The Small Isles Expedition

A six day expedition to the Small Isles (Eigg, Muck, Rum and Canna). An island group of stunning diversity where each new island we visit offers new landscapes, wildlife and people.

Uists and the Sound of Harris Expedition

- You should have some knowledge and practice of rescues.
- Great if you want to build more advanced skills and experience.
A seven day expedition from Lochboisdale on South Uist, aiming to explore the Uists, the Sound of Harris and the Monach Islands.
Orkney and the North Coast Expedition
11 day expedition 1st June. £780 (fully booked, get in touch if you'd like to join the waiting list)
Trip Grade:
Advanced
ADVANCED These trips are for those who have spent plenty of time in sea kayaks and have a good level of confidence and fitness. You don't need to be an expert or have any leadership qualifications or experience, but ideally you should be paddling regularly and should enjoy challenging day trips or expeditions involving rougher water and committing coastline.
These trips may feature days of at least 30km (daily distances will vary), committing coastline, longer open crossings and rougher seas. They may also include paddling in tidal races and surf.
- You should be confident paddling at least 30km in a day, handling a sea kayak in force 5 winds and have experience paddling in tidal races and surf.
- You should have current knowledge and practice of rescues.
An expedition through the Orkney islands, highly flexible depending on conditions but with a primary aim of paddling from the North coast through the Orkney Islands and returning to the North coast.
